What's In Your Book Bag?
Jan. 16, 10:00am-2:00pm - Sandwich Public Library. Get into the reading spirit by decorating a book bag at this drop-in program. Show your Sandwich Reads Together pride! by decorating a Sandwich Reads book bag with paints, ribbons and sparkle. Ample craft materials available to add "bling" to your book bag. Bring your own book bag, or purchase a plain muslin bag for $2 each, at the program. For young and old, come alone or with a group! All welcome! See pictures from the event!

Family Pictures Tell Your Story - Scrapbooking Project
Jan. 29 & Feb. 5, 6:30pm - Sandwich Public Library.
Two-part workshop led by Sara Beth Gall. Create a charming chipboard album that will tell the story of your family. In the Jan. 29 session, you will cut papers and prepare your album. In the Feb. 5 session, you will add pictures, ribbons, bows, etc. Bring a small pair of scissors and a glue stick to each class. $15 materials fee. Space is limited, so please register for this event at the library's Reference Desk.

A Book in Hand: Book Making Project
Feb. 17 & 18, 1:00pm - Sandwich Public Library.
In a two-day project, adults and children (Grade 5 and up) construct a one-of-a-kind personalized book. Led by freelance artist Christine Anderson. After a simple expose on the ways books can be constructed, Ms. Anderson will lead you through the creative construction of a one-of-a-kind, personalized book in hand. Kids 5th grade and older and adults are invited to the workshop. Materials provided and there is no fee. A Taste of Japanese Food & Culture
Feb. 22, 2:00pm - Sandwich Public Library. Our presenter, Erika Young Angelique, is known as Young Eri in Sandwich. In her homeland of Japan, she was called Erika-san. She will share her Japanese traditions and offer participants a sampling of Japanese food. See pictures from the event!
