Geraldine Brooks discusses People of the Book - January 31, 2009

Over 300 people came to hear Geraldine Brooks talk and present slides about her novel People of the Book, a fictional history of the Sarajevo Haggadah, an illuminated Jewish holy text.

Sandwich Reads Together co-chair and Sandwich Public Library reference librarian Lauren Robinson opened the event. Nancy Titcomb of Titcomb's Bookshop introduced Geraldine Brooks.
