Make Your Own Book Bags - Jan. 16, 2009

We got into the reading spirit by decorating book bags at this drop-in program at the Sandwich Public Library. Readers could bring their own bags and purchase inexpensive bags, and we provided all the paint, stamp, ribbons, and sparkles for free.

"This was a super event with lots of good energy.  We had four great teen volunteers and lots of families creating their bookbags," said Kathy Johnson, Young Adult Librarian and Programming, Sandwich Public Library
