As part of his presentation, Mr. Say talked about his book Kamishibai Man. Kamishibai is "paper theatre." Mr. Say showed photos of himself modeling the poses that he wanted to illustrate in his characters. A cut out provided a little 'cut up' assistance!

On Saturday, February 28th, Allen Say delivered a town-wide presentation at the Sandwich High School.. |

Dean Coe of Kiwanis Club of Sandwich, enthusiastic sponsors of SRT, and
Mary Ellen Johnson,
Superintendent Sandwich
Public Schools spoke in
welcome of Allen Say. Students
Shannon Saffle and Nathaniel Picarelli-Kombert
introduced Mr. Say.

|

After his presentation, Mr. Say participated in a question and answer session lead by Mindy Todd, host of the Cape & Islands NPR's show "The Point." Of course, a book signing followed. |
